In June, USDOT announced the winner of the hotly-contested Smart City Challenge. Of the 78 applicants, Columbus, Ohio was selected. One of the key players in Columbus’ application was the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission. Thea Walsh serves as the agency’s Director of Transportation Systems and Funding.
